We stayed here April 29-May 1st for Jazz Fest. The hotel was clean, but the service was just awful. I am a Hilton Honors member and expect more from Hilton hotels. Our flight landed at 6:05 in the morning. We were aware that check in wasnt until 3, but figured we would drop our bags off and see if they could check us in early or let us know when our room was available. So after a quick breakfast we headed to the hotel and drop off our bags at the bell hop and then asked to check in. Of course the room wasnt ready, which was fine. But we were told that they would text us soon when it was available, and it shouldnt be too long. Flash forward to almost 3:30 (clearly after check-in) and we hadnt heard back. So I called to find out the status and got some rude lady on the phone who acted irritated that i had the nerve to check the status. So she put me on hold and came back and claimed "max was supposed to have texted you, the room is ready, but whatever its ready" ok, so i go to check in and am met with the same rude response, first he claimed he couldnt find my reservation, then after searching tried to put me in a two queen room and when i pointed out i paid extra for a king river view, he rolled his eyes and eventually was able to find one. so we checked in. The room was very clean, the view was great. However, everyone who worked there seems to have an attitude. The servers at their breakfast restaurant took 15 mins to take a drink order and didnt come back to take our food order for 30 mins after that, and seemed bitter that we wanted to order and not just eat off the buffet. The housekeeper banged on the door even after we told them we were getting dressed and to come back later. We asked for extra pillows upon checkin and they never arrived even after calling and asking again. Overall it was just poor customer service.
