I am writing this review for my 2014 Prius#3 purchase experience.
I did not end up buying it from this dealer even they actually offered slightly better price than where I purchased my Prius( a couple hundred ). Part of the reason was the threatening tactic the finance manager used on us. Before this guy came, I was negotiating the price with the internet sales director Dante, who was very patient, professional and straightforward, then this finance manger (i think) came in and started bashing on how low their price is and told me if I don't buy that night, they would not give me the price again if I leave the dealer. I asked if I don't get the car that night, can I work on another deal on another car if I decide to come back later. This guy just shouted out in the office asking another guy this so-called "policy" -- "if the customer does not take the deal, no deals will be made to the same customer even it is a different model, we won't sell any car to the customer" He just turned around and walked away without saying anything. Honestly, I left the dealer feeling I was harassed by this finance manager, too bad I didn't get his name, otherwise I would put it here so anyone reading this could be aware of him.
If I would ever come back to this dealer, it would only be for Dante's excellent customer service. From the beginning to the end of my communication with him, Dante had been direct and polite, telling me all the facts without pushing me to purchase it on the spot. Even when I was walking out of the dealer, he went outside to the parking lot and reminded me to make sure the other dealer was not hiding anything from me (yes, they actually did).
So, if you really want to buy from this dealer, just work with Dante' Winters from the internet sales department.
