I shop at Menards often enough to know the customer service is consistently poor. I am finally disappointed enough to waste my time writing this review for a company that does not have real competition. I called both Eau Claire locations multiple times and asked if they had water transfer pumps or nonsubmersable pumps because my basement was flooding. I was told they were out each time. The first time I called the website said there were six in stock but the rep said that was not true. We visited this location and asked an employee in person and they said they were out of what we were looking for and walked away without offering any info about the pumps they did have there. the last time I called I was told they were still out so I asked when more would be available and was told that it would be April 1st. I went into the store for a squeegee the same day and they had pumps (submersible) that will work for my issue. The slightest concern from one out of 5 Menards employees could have prevented a frantic search on my part while more and more water came into my home.
