My boyfriend and I had to go through The Guarantor...

My boyfriend and I had to go through The Guarantors when we rented our first apartment because his credit wasn't great. We needed to be "ensured" by the Guarantors, meaning we pay them a fee of $2,500. For over a year neither my boyfriend nor I have heard anything from the Guarantors or received a single email from them. We hav paid our own rent in FULL and ON TIME every month. This means we are just at a lost of $2,500 paid to the Guarantors. After one year of no communication what so ever the Guarantors then sent us an email about renewing our lease and needing to pay them another $2,500 being that its "usually required". I commend them on the scam they are operating. Certainly would NOT recommend this company. FIND ANOTHER OPTION OFR SEARCH HIGH AND LOW FOR A 3RD PARTY SIGNATURE.
