Can t say enough about my recent visit to Genesys...

Can t say enough about my recent visit to Genesys. I was admitted through the emergency room with severe stomach pains and Diarrhea (this was my 4th day). After a short wait they had me in the back taking blood and scheduling a cat scan. The results showed major inflammation of my intestines and lower stomach. After convincing me to stay the night I was seen in the morning by a specialist. After waking up, after I was briefed on my current condition and released.The next morning I received a phone call from the physician who performed the final procedure. Doc (Nate Landesman) he told me my condition was caused by a rare parasite He then walked me through the treatment plan and even called my pharmacy. After receiving the news my insurance would not cover my meds . $800 plus for a few pills he told me not to worry he would get me the meds. A short while later doc Nate called me back and told me he had the meds and asked for my address to drop them off. Unbelievable!!! Anyhow he drove to my house and dropped them off!! Never in 41 years on this earth have I seen a doctor who would do so much for a patient. During my visit to Genesys I definitely had some Frustration with some of my nurses, but after I brought up my needs to them in a understanding way, everything was taken care of very quickly. They told me the staff was working hard on a nother patient that was terminal and was fading in and out of life. I would say a little patience goes a long way, treat people respectfully and they will treat you the same. Hope this helps!
