I have health insurance. I called Telemind two separate times to make an appointment and BOTH times I was asked to provide a debit card to keep on file. They wanted to charge me $1 JUST TO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. Nope.I've NEVER heard of such of thing. That screams sketchy to me. Even my therapist who had referred me to Telemind said that was unheard of. I will never try to make another appointment with Telemind ever again.

**Edit** I'm not sure why Telemind felt the need to explain WHY they want a card on file. I get it. But the fact is, I'm not comfortable providing that information nor have I ever been asked to do so from ANY other doctor's office in my LIFE. It is my RIGHT as a patient to have an appointment made WITHOUT being charged. My therapist will no longer be referring you to patients.
