If I could, I would rate this 3.5 stars because our wait staff was very friendly and nice. In short, Brennecke s is a tourist trap. Although the location is very nice, the food was only decent; paired with the steep price point for almost everything on the menu, it wasn t the most amazing meal. The poke tacos and the fish and chips were actually very tasty, but the 2 mahi mahi dishes we got were mostly pretty bland and the stuffed mushrooms (which were a whopping $15), were a few small mushrooms with cheap shrimp and cheese sloppily thrown on a plate with soggy garlic bread on top. This restaurant is really hit or miss, some of the food is awesome, but a lot is not worth the heavy price. Try a more local place instead!
