I had bariatric surgery with Dr. Alanis at the end of January and I was very impressed, not just with the surgical procedure but my entire stay. Kaycee in day surgery was great getting me prepped and ready. Esther the OR nurse helped me stay calm and answered any questions that I or my husband had and Dr. Mabadeje the anesthesiologist was also great with helping to put me at ease. After the procedure when I was in recovery, the nurse Crystal helped me to remain pain free and comfortable. I had very good nurses during my two day stay, but Lihn was a standout for his care. He had me up and moving as soon as allowed and made sure he checked on me frequently to keep my pain under control. He was absolutely fantastic! Overall, I would absolutely recommend getting surgery at HCA.
