One of the best theaters in St. Petersburg.
Acoustically speaking, the old stage is better than the new one, this must be borne in mind when going to the opera. For ballet, it is not so critical.
In the case of performances not in Russian, the stage above displays a translation (so-so, but better than nothing) of what is happening on the stage. It also displays the English translation. The main thing is not to try to compare them :)

All classical productions are phenomenal, I recommend.
Performances with modern costumes and "modernization" are questionable in my opinion. But I'm not a critic, so this is just my personal opinion.
