Worst product purchasing & customer service experience in 35 years. Dealer has a "Policy" of sitting on a CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECK for 5 days to "wait for the funds to clear". They seem to not understand how Certified Checks work. They could simply CASH the check and deposit funds, it's guaranteed. No other authorized BMW Dealer in the state that I can find has this ridiculous "Policy". I have spoken with Chase Financial and they have informed me that the funds have left their account, which means the dealer is basically currently holding my money and car hostage. On top of this, they speak to me with the utmost amount of disrespect I've EVER encountered in my life when I simply call to ask if they can help expedite the process with their financial institution. They could not care any less for me as a customer...completely disgusted.

I flew over 600 miles to do the deal, the check has been delivered and now I'm literally stuck, at my own expense, waiting in Los Angeles for my keys, which could be 4 days from now.

Buying and owning a product like BMW should be synonymous with excellence and high quality service. These individuals provide neither. Unfortunately this has soured my experience and opinion of BMW as a whole and have been speaking with BMW USA with regard to resolving the issue.

Stay as far away from Sterling BMW as you possibly can. You WILL thank me for it later.
