Keith Pierson's Service Department is slipping! Vi...

Keith Pierson's Service Department is slipping! Visit before last I came in for an oil change. When I got my vehicle back they did not do the oil change saying it was only due every 10,000 miles. But I came in at the mileage they put on my sticker? However they did rotate my tires without asking. Since I had just rotated and balanced my tires at Costco that week, I had to have them "un-rotated"! Instead of refunding me the cost, the service mgr gave me a credit.

When I came back for next check-up and oil change they noted not to rotate tires and acknowledged the credit. When my vehicle was ready they said everything looked great, including my battery. That jogged a memory and I said wait, no there is something wrong with the battery. It is leaking!

We popped the hood and I showed him the advanced corrosion on the battery tie-down and another component that he called the motor mount. (I thought it was a shock absorber or strut?) The head of it had deep, large flakes of rust. He said it was "surface" rust. I said "wrong"... Here on the other side is a example of surface rust.

After he called me "sweetie" I asked to speak to the head of the department. The service dept boss was very professional. He looked, listened, heard the battery was only 1 year old and asked him "what is the problem here? Replace the battery."

The battery was replaced. The service took me to the check-out desk but he forgot to give me my previous credit, so that took another 15 minutes to sort out!

Keith Pierson, please sort this service department out! I have 3 vehicles I have serviced here. My sister has one. My parents also have one. They have also purchased at least 3 brand new vehicles from you. I am at decision's door for leaving. My sister is as well. Her horror stories put mine to shame.

Do you know she waited all day in your service department on her vehicle without being called? Her tire kept going flat and your guys couldn't find the problem with the TPS system! They we're closing up and turning off the lights when she walked up and asked if her car was ready. They inspected it, found "nothing" wrong, and parked it without letting her know!

I called and reported this to the Department Head. Nothing has been done to date. No apology. Nothing... I think it is time for a new mechanic.
