sanjucta ghosh arora Review of Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa
PROPERTY: huge but the most expensive rooms in sui...
PROPERTY: huge but the most expensive rooms in suite category have no view infact windows open on to a common path .so avoid suite
STAFF : 3 stars all are for the amazing staff . Starting from Anjum -honest girl returned extra 1k in gave .Saloni in the dining who effortlessly served smiling from morn to nite and again on newyears morn .Hitesh helped with booking ( though i kept wondering if 1lakh 3thousand for 3 nites was too high a price)
DINING: the WORST breakfast spread i have ever seen in a resort .no options for non vegetarian except eggs and dead looking bacon .chef needs lesson on toxicity of burnt oil ( they keep frying in the same oil ).even the idlis were hard .poha looked dried.very upset and fir me holiday at a luxary resort meant a grand breakfast.
NEW YEAR EVE : i had fun coz i had made up my mind to end 2019 dancing.music good .good MC .half cooked food . food was like u get in a low standard wedding banquet .they had million variety but all smelling of oil or half done and then wait at live counter . More than this is the thing that it was mandatory for the guests living to attend and pay 10000per pax( Dont u all think it's too high and unjustified) why should I be forced and if i did pay i expect luxary at 10k. correct me if I am wrong.
So in brief excellent staff/ vast property/bad dining / overpriced new year.( On a usual day i would have asked for a refund for serving half cooked fish but didn't want to play a spoiler on the New year Eve.
3 stars which i gave is only for the amazing staff (dear management your staff is ur asset take care of them or else the dinig & suite rools not worth ) 1 star for the dining area & breakfast / horrible new year Eve food / no value for money ( 10k per person) .they need to get a better chef and suite rooms a better view .
