I understand having long waiting times in a place ...

I understand having long waiting times in a place like an ER, but I was in severe pain and was not tended to for almost two hours despite them know I was there based on another doctors orders to get tested for appendicitis. They gave me pain medicine that didn t work at all, and when I was finally back in my own room, I have to wait several hours for anyone to give a different type of pain relief despite asking multiple times. Then, an intern came in to examine my pain, made me nearly pass out from not being careful enough, and cancelled my CAT scan that other doctors ordered for my appendix as she thought it was a pelvic pain problem within my ovaries. I got an ultrasound after multiple hours of waiting, they found nothing, waiting for a CAT scan again, and then found out that I did indeed have appendicitis like I had been saying and had to stay overnight for a surgery I couldn t had that night had the intern actually listened to the other opinions of doctors. She had no compassion or apologies when she told me what was wrong with me, wouldn t answer any questions, and left as quick as possible. The only thing saving this from a one star review was the excellent care that came from the nurses. They were compassionate and actually listened to my complaints and kept me very comfortable despite the pain. I hope from now on that intern doesn t go making her own diagnosis plans against any other opinions anymore. She wasted my time, my money, and kept me in pain five hours longer than necessary.
