I stayed here for work during the NEI coference at The Broadmoor and it was great. The show managed a free shuttle service that ran all day long, which was convenient. The resort itself has outstanding food at the bar. The smoked Bricket Pizza is a perfect meal for two, and the happy hour bison burger and draft beer was pleasant as well. Both dinners cost me $12, which is a fair price. The staff are all super friendly. The rooms are clean and the shower is hot. The temperature was perfect. I didn't need AC or the heater the entire stay. And the view of the mountains and town from the room and from the main building was spectacular. The bed and pillows are clean, soft, and comfortable. Or at least as comfortable as a hotel can be. Nothing beats my own bed.

My one and only complaint was the awful chorizo burrito at the cafe. It tasted terrible. Not worth $7.50. Lesson learned.
