The ER here is a joke. Went in for severe abdominal pain for the second time. I had taken motrin (because that is what they told me to do the first time that I went in) and was still doubled over crying in pain. They would not give me pain medicine for almost two hours after I was taken back. I told them the issues I had last time I was in and that I was now seeing a specialist over an ongoing ovarian cyst issue and I believed it was this same issue. They took me in for an ultrasound to check for anything and told me I had no cysts and they could not find anything. They then discharged me with no instructions on when I should follow up with a doctor and no sort of pain medicine to ensure I did not end up coming back due to pain. I went for a followup with my specialist a week later and was told one of my cysts had grown to almost 8cm and I was going to need surgery in order to remove them. Big difference between the ER telling me I had no cysts and nothing was occuring within my body.
