I would rate it a 0 star but that's not an option. Don't rent at Mission club apartments in Orlando they are terrible, they don't respond to emergency calls, management finds and excuse for everything, and if your fire alarm goes off be prepared to sleep all night with the loud ringing.. 11am and it's still going off. 10 hours and they have NOT made it a priority to turn the fire alarm off. No parking, gates barely work, not secure, apartments falling apart and they just paint over things such as water leaks to make it look nice for you to move in. Renovated? More like they just had extra time to double coat the walls with paint to cover stains and leaks. Hurricane damage? Be prepared to wait MONTHS for any repairs to happen. There was smoke coming out of my A/C unit at 1am in the morning and no one answers the emergency line, my family could barely sleep with the horrible smell and worried it would catch fire. Roach infestations, MOLD, rusted sinks, broken shelves, swollen wooden cabinets due to water damage, constant peeling paint, leaking/cracked ceilings, etc. I actually have a video showing the two men (from some contractor company) that came to my apartment MONTHS LATER AFTER HURRICANE IRMA DAMAGE TO PAINT OVER MAJOR LEAKS, AND LARGE VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL CRACKS IN THE WALL. The only good thing that's happened is that now I'm more motivated to buy a house within the next year. So if you need that motivation then yeah, go ahead and risk renting at Mission Club Apartments in Orlando, Fl. Oh and if management reads this and wants to go ahead and give me their textbook response of " Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns, we appreciate the feedback. Please stop in to the office" etc. Here's what you can do for me, I asked to be compensated due to the fact that the fire alarm went off at 1am in the morning and I had to sleep in a hotel room for the night because the ear piercing noise was unbearable. I go back the next morning, fire alarm is still going off at 11am!! I was told NO, and given some excuse. If this fire alarm is a one time deal then compensation shouldn't be a problem, if you know the fire alarm is always going off and want to admit that, then yes I understand why you wouldn't compensate because you'd be paying for me to sleep in a hotel very often. So let me know, because I still have the bill nice and crisp.
