They do not make pottery any more. The pottery has been outsourced to china. The store is just stuff you could find anywhere, like walmart. Very, very disappointing. I think the name of the store needs to be changed and local tourist and convention places need to take this off of the local attractions. The staff seemed tired of trying to explain to folks why there wasnt any pottery. And folks, including myself left empty handed.

In response to your response, yes, there were pitchers with 80th anniversary but thats it plua a few toothpick holders. How can you have an anniversary when you dont even produce the pottery that williamsburg pottery is famous for?
Your own staff said the pottery was now being made in china because the city didnt renew the contract. And yall had to destroy all the left over pottery because you didnt own the patten. If you dont want people to know the truth, perhaps you should train your staff who repeatedly had to explain why there wasnt pottery. Its completely false advertising.
