Good pastrami sandwich and good Ruben (when ordered in detail, i.e. well toasted, extra swiss, substitute horseradish for Russian dressing). Good NY waitress agreed that Rubens require horseradish, not some crappy sauce that most of PDX puts on... salad dressing is for salads not sandwiches. FYI best Ruben in the PDX area is the original Ruben at Rose's Deli. Two sandwiches, bottle of wine, one dessert was a bit dear at $80 with tip.

Rickety tables and chairs are an absolute no-go! Just a liability lawyers wet dream. If you are going to use wooden furniture you must have an upkeep plan for glides, tightening screws, re-gluing loose dowels, finishing, etc.
