Amazing day. We spent 7 hours and didn t get to see everything and we didn t do any extra tours. There is a lot to see and it is all amazing.

Highlights are the Atlantis shuttle and the Saturn V rocket.

The bus tour(included in standard ticket) took you up to and around the big and iconic assembly building and the newly configured launch pads for Space X and ULA.

At the Atlantis shuttle we were able to talk to a former NASA employee who used to be in charge of getting the some of the shuttles ready after a previous mission. We were able to hold some of the thermal tiles and blankets on the shuttle. He was also able to help us understand some of the logistics behind deploying and maintaining satellites.

Food is standard fare but reasonably priced (not too much of a gouge).

Parking was $10.

Easy drive from Orlando (just under an hour)
