Even 4 hrs away I consider myself a regular. This hill never disappoints. For a tourist you may not be drawn to the quiet quaintness of Jasper but this hill has it all and won t disappoint.
If you have beginners or nervous skiers there is a great lesson program / segregated hill . They can then graduate to a modest run near the chalet with its own shirt lift to build confidence to take on the mountain. Even up top there are less intimidating ways to ski out if the black diamonds aren t your thing.

With two lodges to enjoy..you can have a full day taking in the runs and find convenient breaks at lower or mid mountain.

To save a few bucks we always pack a lunch. Sit in the basement of mid-mountain since it s always less crowded, has a fountain and microwave and also near the bathrooms.
A true ski in/out.

Keep an eye on events they may be hosting...often get lucky with live music outside the lodge with contests.

And Always have a a Caesar.
