Starting out with web-marketing, we decide to take part in the introductory workshop organized in Tirrenia (Pisa) by Marketing01 on AdWords in the winter months. Excellent presentation and communication skills of the speaker. We organize an appointment at our headquarters to evaluate the services offered. The economic commitment seems high (50% Google compensation, 50% Marketing01 compensation), but we are lured by the proposed prospects. The same company representative convinces us. Let's start with two AdWords campaigns, for German and French markets. At the end of April-beginning of May we are finally on-line campaigns and here begins the difficult question of conversions, on which we had expectations (who doesn't?) And of which, on August 5, we sent the following feed-back to the company:
- Conversion question: after a long and painful illness we found out from our webmaster that the codes had to be loaded yes, but from the booking interface managed not by a company other than the webmaster; this key element, known our site and our company was instead up to the company to understand and act accordingly; the result was a delay of more than 1 month in the display of conversions (late June);
- we have always found out that conversions were not just bookings, but the codes were loaded both on the comments page and on the accommodation search pages (while we had understood from the company that the conversions came exclusively from the screen ' Thank You 'of reservations). Result: only in late July we realized that conversions were not reservations !!! If one of our employees had not imposed herself, we would probably never have received this necessary explanation.
- not having the company focused on these substantial aspects, but sailing a little on sight, albeit with diligence, we have experienced a lack of care for our campaigns and needs for feedback on the investment made; as well as our web master, whose kids receive laconic e-mails and equally laconic guidelines on codes; as a consequence for our web master so much empty work, among other things not counted in the invoice; we would then take revenge on Marketing01. Then when our employee asked for explanations as to why the company did not understand that the codes were on the interface, there was little clarity ... We feel at least perplexed.
We have the impression that the employees of the company are very competent and really diligent but work in watertight compartments and without the necessary overview.
We received no feedback on our feedback from the manager after repeatedly requesting it.
Good judgment refers to the employees of the company and their work. We were not convinced by the management of the company in terms of price-quality service and clear communication.
