More like Jim Hell-is!

More like Jim Hell-is!

First I applied online through the USAA car buying app on a Kia Soul that was at a great price, once I called about it the car was somehow just sold in a 30 minute window although it showed in all inventory (and still does!)

Luckily for me another one just came in with similar miles and features for a little more. There were no pictures online and after some haggling I was finally able to obtain the carfax and about five pictures of the car (all interior). I was told it was in perfect condition with no dings or scratches by Keenan Matthews.

I finally got the price where we agreed and took off work early and drove over an hour to get there. On arrival both entire sides of the newly arrived Kia were scratched, slashed and bent like it had been driven by John Candy and Steve Martin from Planes, Trains and Automobiles!

The right front tire was gouged to the point of replacement and numerous other flaws were discovered. They then stated that it had been through service although that was soon contradicted by another salesman.

After checking the oil stick I found it burnt and caked all along the dipstick. Again they said it could be checked by their mechanics and reassured me it would be in excellent condition and verified. (Although I was told that already happened that morning)

Long story short we left and cannot express how much we DO NOT recommend Jim Ellis Chevrolet or Eagle Eye Keenan!

I will see our second salesman Neal did try to remedy the situation and filled up our tank for the trouble

My only regret is I didn t think to take the picture of the damage on the Kia to share
