Lots to do. More like a theme park than a science center, although that also means the lines can be long too.
We did the bus tour of the launch pads and historic buildings, the IMAX presentation on the current plans for the KSC, heard from and got a picture taken with a retired astronaut, experienced the history of the shuttle program, saw the Atlantis shuttle, and explored the Mars Rover Project.
This was a full day, lasting from 10 am until after 6 pm. And there was plenty we weren't able to get to either.
I couldn't give it five stars because we ended up standing around quite a bit, both in lines and waiting for shows/exhibits/tours to start. There was a long line for lunch, and the entrance for parking merged from five lanes to one, creating confusion and stress. Otherwise, it was a wonderful visit. My kids (ages 6-12) had a great time.
