I was recently in a car accident where a truck hit me on the side, there in insurrance is ACCC, It has now been over a week and they have said that my claim was accepted but I still do not have a rental and the adjuster has still yet to give me an estimate, along with that they have also misplaced my vehicle and are claiming they have no idea where it is at. I have spoken to a few people that were very nice, but over all they handle situations very unprofessionally and are dragging this out as long as possible and giving me the run around, I am beyond frustrated with the situation because the least they can do is give me a rental while they get an estimate but I am sitting without a vehicle and I am not able to get back-and-forth to work, I will be going over their head if need be.
