I first came to Dr. Yates when I realized I was having severe hair loss at my hairline and the top of my head. I noticed my hair loss in medical school and decided to do something about it when it got worse during my residency. I specialize in clinical research dermatology and I was looking for a doctor that really understood the science behind hair restoration. I also wanted to find someone that had the surgical skills it takes to perform this procedure. I did a nationwide search and asked my colleagues who was the top doctor in the hair field and that s when I was referred to Dr. Yates. After researching him I found out that he is a board-certified (by the ABMS) surgeon. That was really important to me. If you are wondering what ABMS is please look into this before choosing your hair restoration surgeon. Being in the medical field myself I knew that he had put in the years to perfect his surgical skills. For those that are wondering, that makes a huge difference in the success of the procedure and whether it looks natural or not. Regarding my hair transplant, I can say that it was one of the best decisions and investments I have made in my life. It gave me back my confidence and the hair I used to have. My hair looks 100% natural and better than it has ever been. As a fellow physician, I highly recommend Dr. Yates for both his professionalism and skill as a surgeon.
