By the time our phlebotomist arrived from being up...

By the time our phlebotomist arrived from being up on the floor (40 minutes after we arrived) my child was already anxious. They had us wait in a small dingy waiting area with the lab open right next to us. No one really was around. You had to pick up a phone and dial a number to get someone to talk to. When there they said they did not have a referal from our sons MD. Though I called the office and they confirmed they had faxed it. After about an hour the phlebotomist just left while they were "trying" to contact my sons Dr. after hours. Finally we just left after over a hour. There was no one around to tell that we were leaving and we never heard back from any hospital staff. The right hand never seemed to know what the left hand was doing. Overall this was a horrible experience.
