I have been a subscriber for over 20 years. I am an opera fun. I like many of the MET productions but sone times they goof with casting, with stage sets and with voices that show that the singes have not rehearsed hard enough. The Orchestra is first class though sone conductors do not control the volume of it which affects the singing as the singes have to compete for volumes that require very high register. But all in all the MET is a great place for Opera
