Called regarding getting a new key for my 2002 For...

Called regarding getting a new key for my 2002 Ford Escort ZX2. Was told that the cost would be $125 for the key and fob and another $150 to program both the key and fob. Only problem is that there is no chip in the 2002 Ford Escort keys.. So why would it need programming??

EDIT: Just an FYI, I had already left a message for Mr. Davis the same day that I left this review.. I've yet to receive a phone call back from him.
