It was a big mistake to visit the Kennedy Space Center on a Saturday right after the Christmas holiday. We saw very little because the waits were horrendous everywhere. For example, the expected wait to get on the bus tour included with admission was 120 minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful but there clearly weren't enough of them to handle the crowds. And copying some of the Disney World approaches to crowd management would have made the experience more pleasant. I left at the end of the day feeling quite disappointed.
