Now called Sands where they serve great food and the service is both personal and professional. Joe the proprietor also runs the shop and surf club and the adjoining Discovery Bay self catering apartments. While staying for a week we enjoyed the whole sea bass, the chicken and chorizo burger, the house burger with two 4oz patties, the roast plum salad and also the rib eye steak. We were never disappointed. The wine should get a mention, both affordable and very tasty. The location is second to none with one of the best surf beaches in Europe in view while eating on the 'hill' outside the pub. Our best memories will be the superb friendly service from all on site and the fantastic food. Jersey is worth many visits and so is Sands.
