The Grand Mayan Resort is an amazing place to stay. The resort staff are so gracious and always helpful.
The beach is Rocky and not really a place to go swimming. But the pools are nice.
STAY AWAY FROM THE SALES PITCH!
They will keep you there all day. We got roped into a free breakfast and a room credit. But the sales pitch never ended. After 6 hours we walked out. It's so over priced and think about it, why would you pay a $100k to $200k for a place then spend another $2500+ to stay a week. Rip off! Not to mention that there is no Beach to swim because of all the rocks.
