My son had a very invasive procedure at PCMC. At the conclusion of his procedure, he was admitted to the PICU. I felt very unsafe with the care that was delivered in that unit. My son wasn't properly cared for. He was given expired formula amongst many other issues.
After he was stable and transferred to the infant unit, the care delivered was fabulous.
It is unfortunate that you can't count on those who are supposed to be trained to deliver care to the most ill patients.
