Diann Chrisman Review of Cheyenne Mountain Resort

My husband and I spent the last 2 nights at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. We have stayed here in the past, so we were looking forward to the accommodations. The room (standard with a king bed) was rather expensive. But we waited until the last minute to book, and it's peak season, so I wasn't too surprised. Unfortunately, our room was right across the hall from a conference room. It was on the lowest level with our balcony facing the parking lot and unfortunately most of our view was of the next buildings. I DO NOT believe that room should have been billed at $349 per night. That bank of rooms, in my opinion, should have been discounted because of the high traffic in the hall outside the rooms. I gave 5 stars because we hardly used our room, instead spent all day at the Alluvia spa. Our treatments were fantastic, our masseurs talented and attentive! The spa itself is very inviting and being a guest at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, you have full access to the hot tub and steam shower. I will definitely return to the spa, but have second thoughts about reserving a room.
