We have a bishop who refuses to stand up and address racism and anti immigrant rhetoric by his Republican President. Burbidge is a solid GOP. He refuses to condemn hatred and bigotry. We will stand up at his masses with media present and ask this bishop are you a racist and why do you refuse to speak the truth about what is happening in the pubic square with your GOP President Trump? Don t contribute anything to the parishes or diocese anymore. Rome needs to remove a man afraid to stand up for Gospels! We let Rome know this man hides when the sheep need a Shepherd to speak truth. Nothing worse than a bishop more worried about upward climbing than being a a true voice for the voiceless slaughtered by guns. Oh yes Burbidge forbids all priests from speaking out about guns at masses and protesting the NRA.

Alot of Hispanic Catholics of our Diocese are mad and angry with Bishop Burbidge for allowing a pastor at St Raymond's Springfield to cancel and stop a wedding in July two days before the scheduled wedding of a Hispanic couple. All Catholics need to know that the parents pleaded with Bishop Birbidge for his help. He refused to help the good Catholic Hispanic parishioners of St Raymond's.
Pope Francis would condemn this nasty mean spirited and draconian decision by the pastor and bishop. Shame on you Bp Burbidge. Everyone should write to the Pope and condemn this mean spirited hate! Where is the Gospel of Christ lived here when there is discrimination and rejection of Latinos?
