We recently used Alma Lodge for a reception after the funeral of my mother. I have to say that I do not think we could have chosen a better venue.
The staff were extremely helpful and professional at all times, which was a great help at a difficult time for us.
The presentation and food at the Buffet was first class, and we received many compliments about the meal. It was nice to know that our guests appreciated what we did, and that it did justice to the memory of my mother.
The room (Congress Room) was light and had a lovely atmosphere. We chose the Fork Buffet with some extra vegetarian options, which I would recommend. Plenty of staff were on hand to serve, which was great for ourselves and our guests.
