Great place for a variety of home, yard and pool repair. I've been working with Daniel to get my pool chemicals regulated and algae under control. He has been a huge help. Everyone is professional, helpful and kind in the store. I reccomend Messick Ace hardware for anyone in this area.

It's little expensive, but it's still in a rural area, and can save you a trip to town.

Among a chain of hardware stores already known for their quality, this Ace is above even that standard. It's clear the employees are home improvement experts and they are all eager to help. The store has an outstanding selection, including specialty items for their market of customers. Messick is one of the few places in Colusa where you can buy supplies, but their prices are still reasonable.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable, with their combined experience i always leave with added insight on the project at hand. And, they also have a store mascot, a fellow named Dan who thinks he's a leprechaun from Ireland . You're awesome buddy!

They do not participate in many of the "Ace" sales. That includes NO tomatomania. I will be shopping only at the Arbuckle Ace hardware from now on.

Am in hospital recovering from back procedures. DROPPING everything. Called ace here. FOR mechanical pick up tool. They had one oh great and a store employee delivered it. I WOULD SAY THAT IS ABOVE AND BEYOND. Thank You.

Very knowledgeable staff and good selection for a small town.

This is one of the best hardware stores I have been to. Owing to being in farm country and also being the only game in town, their selection is well above average. I'm often surprised when I need something that I can't imagine any brick-n-mortar store carrying, and find they have exactly what I'm looking for. Add this to a friendly, close-knit staff that seems knowledgeable about everything in the store, and you have a top-notch hardware store.

Great place for those unusual items you can't find elsewhere or even custom orders!
