My family and I were at the Bomo Kriopigi Hotel from 04.07.2020 - 11.07.2020. We were supposed to be accommodated in the new wing, but we were accommodated in the old one, for which a 4-star hotel fee is charged, and it does not correspond to 2 stars. The hotel told us that the agency through which we had booked had eventually booked us such a room. I will not comment on the quarrels with the agency. As soon as I entered the room, one of my children turned to me and said, "It's very old and dirty here, it looked different in the pictures." Imagine what the room looked like when a 9-year-old child. was impressed. The pavement was stained with carpet, the air conditioner was yellow, and when it was turned on, garbage began to fly. This same air conditioner is placed next to the pillow of the bunk bed, on which it is assumed that one of my two children should sleep and blow right in his head. The bathroom is old and yellow, the first time the toilet bowl entered it there was a tape informing that it was disinfected, but when the lid was lifted, the toilet was burnt! I don't know how any of the door handles fell into my hands, they swayed and were a hair's breadth every time I opened them. For our entire stay, our room was cleaned 1 time and the change of bed linen and towels was also 1 time and all this in terms of Corona Virus! I end here with the type and hygiene of the room, because I have to tell about the non-fulfillment of the contract. Our program was ultra-exclusive and had to include a tug to the beach every hour (the hotel is nearly 2 km from the nearest beach, people who were without cars gave 12 euros each day for taxis in both directions), daily charging a minibar in the room with water, juices, beer. Animation for children and adults, small cakes, pizzas, ice cream, etc. at the pool, billiards, table football, etc., meeting in the room on the 1st day with wine and fruit ..... none of everything won did not appear, for which we were not even notified in advance or compensated in any way, because in the end you pay for everything this! To cover the playground - new and beautiful at first glance, our young child of 2 years. went up to the house to go down the slide, but started screaming and at that moment we saw that there was a beehive with wasps. He was stabbed in 4 places, one of them on the head. The anxiety and horror we felt not to do an allergic shock, I will not describe. We went to inform the receptionist about the hive, and he replied that they knew and waited for a company to remove it, but when asked why they did not put a note on the site to inform people not to let their children, there was no answer. No cooperation and attitude to the client at all, neither from the hotel nor from the agency. I am terribly outraged by our entire vacation at this hotel and will never set foot there again.
The only thing I gave 1 star for was the food and the service in the restaurant. The food was not plentiful, but it was varied and well cooked.
My advice to hotel owners is to pay attention to their cleaning staff and when they decide to cut out half of their ultra-exclusive concept, find a way to compensate their guests. Almost all the people were crammed into the old part of the hotel. probably in order not to depreciate the new part and not to make repairs for the 2021 season, but if you were a little more broad-minded, with what impression I have left for Greece and Greek tourism, you could at least accommodate people in the new part, which may corresponds to the 4 stars for which you charge!
