Be prepared to go through the TSA and your ID be checked. The museum has many interactive exhibits for the family and tells the history of the Federal Reserve notes and the emergence of money from colonial times up to the present day.

It's a small museum but one of the great places to bring kids. The money museum is centrally located inside the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and very close to Revival Food Hall and not that far from Willis Tower.

The hop on and off bus tour guide mentioned they give old shredded money on certain days. We missed it.
