First let me begin I did not post reviews for long time even was traveling to many places because there always were some negatives and highlighting them was in my opinion unfair to hardworking people serving me there. But now I have to because I do not want my fellow travelers to make costly mistake like I did. My well desired vacation, my daughter graduation trip was completely ruined in that resort. The troubles begins since the beginning. After no any greetings I was met by rude customer service named Fatima who lied straight in my face that type of room I ordered located just on second floor. My travel agent send request one month in advance that I need higher floor and it was highlighted in my hotel voucher because my daughter suffering from asthma but it did not helped and apparently I was eligible for fourth floor. Nobody except customer service speak English so when you do not speak Spanish you out of luck. Food is cheapest quality I have ever seen in all resorts with very limited choices. One time I tried snack bar, place an order and when it was ready server simply give it to locals which come after me. I was so outraged and express my concerns to customer service with no results. I traveled last year to Now Amber resort, spent the same amount of money and there is huge difference from Park Royal. In my opinion Grand and Luxury in name is pure joke. Even with new name it still old resort with cheap food and service. By the way there is no life guard on duty and big sign on the beach suggest you to swim on your own risk.
