My wife and I visited here for 1 week just this past week. It was our first time to the Virgin Islands and was not sure what to expect following the devastation from the 2 hurricanes. We were simply blown away with our experience! To say the staff is friendly is an understatement, they there simply fantastic, always saying hi or good morning or ask how the previous day was and conversing with you versus just doing their work.

The activities coordinator, has been with Bolongo Bay for nearly 20 years and she is extremely knowledgable and easy to work with. If you tell her what you want to do, she will make it happen! I recommend doing a Island Tour of St. Thomas, when we did this we went with Tim's Tours and Tim takes you all around the island, he works with you to determine how long you want to be at each stop, and shares his knowledge with you.

We missed out on the Rum Dive unfortunately, but we did get to take advantage of the Sunset Cruise on the Heavenly Days Catamaran, upon doing this we immediately signed up for the Sunday Funday event which was a full day on the Heavenly Days Catamaran. The crew, Captain Z, Rob, and Connie were again fantastic, they make sure everyone is having a great time and are not just drones working on the boat. They offered to take pictures for each of the couples on the boat and really engage with everyone, treating those on board more like friends. I would highly recommend going on either of these options or both of them, the Sunday Funday trip was truly the pinnacle of our trip.

The rooms are pretty basic which was fine, as we only used the room to sleep in but has AC, a shower, fridge, and TV.

If you are looking for a good place to stay on St. Thomas, I would highly recommend staying here. This resort is owned by 2 families, who are committed to rebuilding the island versus the major resorts who are simply focused on simply rebuilding their resorts.
