Concannon Winery has become a go to spot for many of our family celebrations. A couple of years ago my sister and I treated our Mom to a "Paint n Sip" event for her birthday and the event was a smashing success! (The look on Mom's face when she thought we were taking her to the yoga event was priceless!) Oh! My sister accidentally left her credit card at this event, and of course it was found, secured, and returned to her. Thank you to the staff for that!

Since my sister moved to the Livermore area, we've been going to Concannon for Mother's Day. If there's a more popular day at the winery I can't imagine it! Last year we had reservations at Underdog, the restaurant on the property. Sadly we didn't have reservations for the lawn (yes, on the busy days you need reservations for the lawn) This year, older and wiser, we knew to lock in reservations early. I worked with Elizabeth from Concannon and wow - what service! Elizabeth was so patient and explained all of our options prior to the reservation period opening, which helped us decide what would work best for us. She called back on the day reservations opened, we secured reservations, and I'm looking forward to spending Mother's Day with my Mom at Concannon. (thank you Elizabeth!!!)

It's been fun to visit on random weekends, and I swear one of these days my sis and I will ride our bikes there! (Yes, they have bike parking!)
