We had a wonderful time and our tour guide Debra was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am sure that all the employees there are great and we would definitely like Debra to be our guide for our next visits. Thank you Wente and Debre!!
Me and my wife have long loved Wente. The grounds are spacious but comfortable, wine is elegant with out being too pretentious, and all the staff is friendly. We've been members for 2years now and love taking friends that are visiting to our local hidden gem.

The same level of ridge and Napa is three times as much price.

We tried the Winemaker's Tasting menu and really enjoyed it. The bartender serving us was very knowledgable and struck the right balance of explaining the wine, telling us about the history of Wente and leaving us to experience it on our own in between pourings.

It was crowded and it seems they needed additional staff when we visited. But the lady who entertain us did try to entertain us. Not fond of th wines we tasted.
My husband and I had our wedding at Wente Vineyards this month and had a wonderful experience. We worked with Tricia Craig, Kayla Rootz and Hayley. All three were professional, kind, genuine and creative. They made sure that everything during our event ran perfectly (no really, perfectly). We always felt organized, supported and happy while working with them. The Wente service and kitchen staff was extremely professional and ensured that my husband and I had plenty of food to eat that met the needs of our dietary allergies. The food was also delicious! I highly recommend Wente for any type of event you may host.

We stopped by to pick up some wine today and spent some time at the Nth Degree Lounge. We were served by Dennis, this was a most pleasant experience. He represents your company extremely well, I wish everyone in my own company was as attentive, informed and considerate as Dennis. We were not special, we watched him give that same level of service to each group he encountered. Bravo Dennis. Did I mention the wine here is the best in the valley.
Front porch event was overpriced and a complete disappointment. Please attend if you like porta potties and mainly country music. For a $45 fee you would think they would let you use the bathroom on the facilities and have a variety of music. Would be nice if they provided areas with shade to protect from the sun instead of having people block each other standing under the few trees available.

This is a nice, quaint vineyard with beautiful grounds. Staff in the tasting room is knowledgeable and will do everything they can to find you exactly what you're looking for.

Your WIFI and lack of Blue Tooth integration makes the process of getting samples, bottles & other goods very time consuming. There is newer technology that would enhance peoples' experiences while driving your revenue UP.

Called for info before going to a tasting and to our surprise, there was a private event going on which was very inconvenient especially as the other "tasting" was in a room full of flies. Would have been nice to know of the event, but we made do. Sara was great and wine was ok
Wente is a beautiful location known for their great wines. We have friends in DC that are members of the club here they love the wines so much. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is generally very nice.
Aside from the delicious wines, wente also has many events throughout the year, from kids movies where the parents can drink wine, to art shows with local artists....where the adults can browse and drink wine.
Wente also has a cafe on a golf course some distance away from this main tasting room, along with a formal restaurant. They are worth stops too, as the food is really good if a bit pricey.
My only complaint for wente is that for locals it has come to feel like almost a Kendall Jackson style winery, with a large scale mass production feel. While the wines have not seemed to suffer yet, we can only hope it stays that was as wente grows.
We like the wine. We did the wine tasting. I didn t love them but we bought a bottle for our snacks that we have outdoors. The parking lot is not pave so watch out for your fancy shoes. Usually they welcome you with a little glass of wine but this time no glasses=no samples. Very hard to find a table outside 3pm on Saturday.

The perfect Livermore winery. Have you tasted Wente wines? Sublime! So incidentally, I am the Wente artist of the year for their 2017 vintage! I partnered with Wente to design four wine labels for their artist series wine. I am at the vineyard today for the release of their Serenity small lot wine!

Low rating is due to an expensive, undisclosed in advance, $20 tasting per person, only waived for the purchase of the limited edition bottles, most of which are $70+. Whites were surprisingly good, reds not to our liking.

Wente has always been the go to Vineyard in Livermore Rich in history and great wine.
Nice outdoor/open air seating area next to the tasting room. Outdoor heaters and a roof were nice in the rain!

If you know and love wines from Wente Vineyards, you are already excited at the entrance like a little kid before Christmas. The winery is typically luxurious and invites you to a wine tasting. Wines start from 20 dollars upwards. The staff is very well trained on their own wines and can provide information in a variety of languages. In workshops, offer must be asked, one can dazzle his own wine, which has a Chemielaborflair and extremely funny runs. On the whole, the winery is more than highly recommended and I miss the time there.

This place is AMAZING!! Not only do they have amazing wine and a fantastic staff, the grounds are beautiful! Wente is the #1 choice when wine tasting in Livermore.

Absolutely friendly and warm service, we felt very comfortable and welcome.
We were able to taste a variety of wines (tasting is $20, we split the tasting between us 2). They will waive the fee if you purchase two bottles (each eligible bottle is $45 and up).
They also have other bottles available starting around $18.
Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Really pleasant tasting rooms, they have two of them. Do check out the tasting room studio where they get creative with their wines. Ask for Kris (absolute delight)!

One of the key reasons we walked out with a case of wines was because of the service. Our Wine expert Kris was extremely knowledgeable, really pleasant and always explained what wine to go for. She even paired some of port wines with chocolate for us.
Would definitely recommend asking for her when you visit.
I had a really great time here. The facility is beautiful and the wine was fine. (Not really a wine guy). I took a star away though because we couldn't bring in our own food, which I guess is a new(ish) thing.
I have been wine tasting in lodi California a handful of times and loved it. I was very excited to go to wente. It was awful. I have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment. None of my questions were answered. I did buy 3 bottles. It is a friends favorite wine . the wine was tasty but not tasty enough to be treated like that.
This place quite fantastic. I didn t know of the Livermore wines and my best friend took me here for the Winemakers Studio class where you make your own wine. It was increditable. Grady taught us about the different element of wine and to understand the elements of what you are drink and to discribe them. It is something I been having a hard time with and totally brought clarity to it. It really took my wine education and journey to another level. Grady was wonderful with his energy and knowledge of wine and sharing it. We were so into the class it went long and never felt Grady was rushing us. I hope to return soon. Thanks for a wonderful experience and offer such a great class.
Became a member because the grounds were so beautiful and the service was great- not to mention the variety of wines! I love coming here on the weekends to sit out in the sun and drink a bottle of wine with my friends.
Great place and Joe is fantastic. The grounds are breathtaking and the wines are delicious. Many things to do their including a golf course, dinner, tours, wine tasting, and events.

Not to take away from Napa Valley, but Wente in Livermore offers an incredible wine tasting experience. The great variety, along w/ 1st Class Service & entertainment, is not to be missed. Definitely worth going to.
Really nice place to spend a lazy afternoon. We had the merlot and a cheese plate. The cheese is great but there weren't enough crackers. The staff are all really friendly and genuine. Family owned vineyard.

Having snacks after golf at the outdoor sitting place. It was a great place to sit and look over 18th hole and vineyards. Ordered chicken wings, chicken tortilla , burgers and a bottle of white wine... it was a great time at noon to chill out under the sun. The food is great and the waitress is friendly and attentive. Except they continue to served us water with enough glasses of mineral water that day. Overall a great time here and will come to have a full meal so can comment more...

Dennis was fantastic; poured us so many samples! We tasted their whole line of chardonnays and several red blends. Livermore Valley is so underrated compared to everything North Bay; so glad Wente illuminated this to us. Can't wait to return
Came here on a rainy day in Jan for a friend's bday because the napa wineries that we wanted to visit were closed due to flooding. When we got here we had no expectations. Meet a super friendly gentleman name Bob. He poured us tons of wine, and was super fun to talk to. He was also a wealth of knowledge not just on their wines, but all wines. Almost an hr and half after we walked in, we walked out with wine in our belly and hands. It is amazing how fast time flies when you are having fun! Check this place out and ask for Bob. You will have a great experience, I guarantee it!

I've been a member there for some time. Wente is consistently good, and they have fun events like the wine club parties. Some of their wines have become prohibitively expensive, but even their 'normal' wines are very tasty. Wente offers a wide variety of wines including some interesting and well-crafted blends. They also often have live music at the tasting rooms. Although a separate business from the winery, the restaurant is great and worth visting (though pricey). Good wine and good food. What's not to like?

My wife and I have recently became club members. We attended our first event this past Saturday. We got to meet new people and enjoy great food and wine!
If you are looking for a rather local winery close to San Jose visit Wente and definitely try anniversary white wine. We met Kim there, who was a friendly and helpful staff with a lot of detailed information about wines.
Yesterday, we stopped by for some white wine tasting and left after being turned away 3 times.
Only the information lady offer to get us some wine on the way out. By then the mood had gone and we left upset.

Came for a wine tasting, tour and visit to the caves on a Sunday in mid April. Was told that the tours were booked and the caves were closed. The tasting room was crowded. Discovered that the restaurant and grill were not at the winery but a little further down the road at the vineyard and golf course. This area was very nice, uncrowded and tastings were available at an outdoor patio and at the bar in the restaurant.
Beautiful winery and don t get me started on the golf course! Let s just say I ll be back!
Massive estate winery, my brothers wedding was there and will the last name "Williams" it was ever so quaint. Incredible wines, reds and whites alike. Staple in the community great and a get away from city life.
Good atmosphere. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Rotating selection of wine on tap at Winemaker's Studio is a pleasant surprise.
So much changed since I became a club member few years ago. Now there's no picnic, so pets, lounges only allow 4ppl in at once, and always busy with tourists. They still make good wine, but I don't enjoy coming here as much as I used to.
Although they may try, this is a very corporate winery tasting experience for the masses. The hosts are understaffed ( or lack finesse and efficiency ) and have unusual communication. For a single tasting ($20) I left $50, thinking cash would go quicker - the host assumed it was a 20 and treated us like we were done, and questioned our request for change (?!) Also they were surprised when a tasting was requested, perhaps flight aligns with their vocab. The wine is good but certainly tests your patience and standard levels.

I will never recommend this winery to anyone. There's several other wineries to enjoy in the area that don't have rude staff. Poor communication and customer service lack here at Wente vineyards.
