Feels exclusive, looks polished yet rough! They also have great small sides. The lawn area is crisp and gives good views, then from the balcony the views get even better. The upper patio/ porch is the members area.

I got married here and also plan events here. I've been coming to this property for going on 11 years now and the beauty of the grounds, the friendly staff, amazing wines, and now, amazing food, never gets old!! The renovation last year took it took the next level. This is a must see & taste, if you are ever in Livermore!

Really good wines with an excellent place to bring the whole family. There is a small yard for the kids to run around in and corn hole set up to play. Good wine, good food with good friends.

Just joined recently because when we visited they were dog and baby friendly. We've come back for tastings and have yet to have a flight because they are too busy to service members. Just found out we can't bring our baby to the members event which we were told was family friendly when we joined. I'm totally fine with wineries not wanting kids running around, but feels like a bait and switch from what we were told when we signed up. I had been recommending this place to friends and coworkers, but will stop and cancel this week. Definitely a bummer as it's a wonderful property.

This place was recently re-designed to be more modern and family friendly from what I could tell. The patio space is absolutely beautiful and overlooks the vineyard and green hills of Livermore.

I really enjoyed the wine selection and variety of food they offered. If you get a chance, ask for a quick tour of the place and you ll get a nice history lesson on the well that s on the property! If the weather is right, it s the perfect way to spend an early afternoon enjoying the wine and views. Cheers!

Beautiful setting. Wine is OK, but nothing special. Don't bother with the food. The $25 cheese board had 4 very small pieces of cheese, a few crackers and some cranberries. For $25! Won't be going back.

Our annual company meeting was hosted by Murrieta's Well this week. Team members were welcomed with a small pour of breakfast wine as we headed into the meeting. After the morning meeting ended, we headed out onto the patio before being directed to lunch, which was served upstairs. Lunch consisted of grilled chicken with a mustard sauce, shaved fennel salad, the most delicious mashed potatoes I've had in months, and seasonal vegetables (among other items!). Wine was also being served during lunch, while we sat out on the deck overlooking the vineyard. The team members at Murietta's Well (Diva Sheila, Suzie, Rob, Stephanie, Christina) were attentive, friendly, and a lot of fun. The afternoon was filled with team building activities that had us laughing until we cried - team challenges included a short quiz based on the trivia learned during our tour, a blind tasting of four wines, building the tallest tower out of corks, and singing/performing a song using the wine varietals produced onsite. This was probably the best company meeting yet (I've had four so far) and cannot thank the team at Murietta's Well (and our managing partner, Keith) for organizing a spectacular event. I highly recommend this winery, and look forward to visiting again myself. Thank you!

Atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Service was great. And the wine tasting was excellent, lovely flavors. If you want food, aka cheese and crackers, make sure you arrive BEFORE 4 pm. Boujee

Best wines in the Livermore Valley. All their wines are top notch and at reasonable prices for the quality. Also, they are not the same old Cab/Chardonnay varietals. Petite Verdot and Meritage are our favorites, but we can honestly say we have never had a bad wine from MW and have been members for many years. We have been members of a few others, but end up canceling after a year due to limited selections, so-so wines, or price/value ratio.

I love photographing weddings here. This venue has some great locations to photograph inside and out. The stairwell is a must have picture opportunity. And the night shot opportunities are phenomenal!

Loved this winery! Enjoyed the nice patio, inside tasting area is nice, and the wine is really good! Like the white and the reds. The white and blush werent too sweet or too dry, the reds were peppery and not jammy. The servers were nice and the assortment on the boards was delicious. Will be going back when more friends come in town!

Vino! Vino!

Vino! Vino!

Looks like I might have to start frequenting Livermore more often. My trip over the weekend to celebrate one of my friend's birthday was a big eye opener...

I visited Murrieta's Well a few years back and definitely don't remember it being THIS nice! I vaguely remember the main building and a bunch of land around it...more of a barn room tasting set up. I can easily appreciate the amount of effort and time put into the remodel...

However, along with the fancy ambiance comes the higher price tags and gone is the small town local winery feel... The tastings fees are a very Napaish now, at $25 per person! I remember the tasting being $10 or $15 per person...I guess things change. Looks like it's for the better in this case.

On to the Wine tasting...
We were told to make a reservation since we had decent size party at 8 people. The staff prepared a table for us near the lawn.
As soon as we got there, we were served with a glass of White Wine; The Whip, a white blend. Easy to drink, but nothing outstanding.

Next up was the Dry Rose; This was a hit at the table. Definitely not sweet, but not too dry either, crisp and refreshing. Perfect summer wine. We actually ended up getting a bottle.

We also had the fortune of trying the Muscat Canelli. This was my fave of the day...as I am not a huge White Wine fan. I usually associate any sort of Muscat with sugar on the pallette. The Muscat Canelli surprised me; it had a pleasant floral scent and was light, crisp and refreshing. Brilliant for a warm day.

All the Reds were smooth, easy to drink and flavorful. However I can't say any of them stood out to me. I will have to come revisit all of them. I believe the tasting menu included Merlot, Malbec and the Petit Verdot.

In order to thoroughly immerse ourselves in the tasting experience we also opted to try some of the bites offered from the kitchen. We got all 3 Small plates from the Patio Menu

- Market Fresh Board: I wasn't a big fan of this plate, but that is due to my own personal preferences. The root vegetable theme did not work for me. I didn't think this was a good complement to a wine tasting. I did however appreciate this dish and its uniqueness, and the Cauliflower Hummus was pretty good. I was just not expecting to eat Parsnips, Heirloom Carrots and Celery Roots.

- Charcuterie & Cheese Board: What's not to like? Cheese, Meat, Fruit & Nuts complimented with what I believe to be homemade flatbread crackers. My only complaint is...well more like a personal gripe...I wish the Cheese selection included Sharp Cheddars or heavier and more flavorful Cheeses.

- Housemade Barrel Bites: Brilliant! This was the best plate of the three IMHO. Inspired by Indian Cuisine; some sort of Naan bread with a Garlic, Cauliflower Humus dip. Great flavor and aroma.

Well done Murrieta's Well! I look forward to returning here with a group.

Been a member for 15 years. The last round of upgrades have truly elevated the tasting experience with a kitchen and beautiful seating deck. The Cab Franc and Dry Rose are the best I've had anywhere. The Zarzuela is their signature and what brought me to love this winery. Highly recommend.

Quality of the wines and food are second to none. The ambiance and service at this winery makes it our runaway favorite - Napa has nothing on these guys. Shout out to Rob at the tasting bar, our waitress Suzie (amazing service), and Executive Chef Tony (f'ing delicious food).
