This is a beautiful place! The view from our balcony was gorgeous, even in the winter, with the surrounding hills and the lake. The room we had was spacious with nice carpeting and attractive wall treatments. The bathroom walls were covered with stone tiles--very pretty. The Chateau is merrily decorated for Christmas. Families were taking great Christmas family photos in front of one of the decorated trees while I was sitting in a comfortable chair visiting with friends. There is an annual display of a priceless Fontanini nativity scene and an incredible gingerbread house village created by the bakery staff. Every staff member that we dealt with was courteous, friendly, and competent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
