Top theatre in London! good performances, bar and atmosphere
Lovely theatre, quite a small and cosy feel. All seats have a great view.
Expensive drinks. Mediocre plays. Friendly enough staff. Get ice for your beer, they're not cold.
Great theatre with comfortable seating. Just seen 12th Night, outstanding!
Great theatre but having to urinate in front of a woman in the gents was an unpleasant and demeaning experience
Watched a truly amazing performance of the Inheritance on Saturday 24th March. Both parts back to back. I have never sat through such a long performance of live theatre ever! (all 7 hours of it!) It was a fantastic performance by ALL of the actors. If I had a favourite is was Paul Hilton playing Mor...
Very warming place, has good staff on site. Overall, very impressed
Very innovative theatre and the bar is a knockout especially on a summers day when you can sit on the balcony. Lovely bartenders, happy hour on cocktails, what more do you need!
My friend went to the toilet and they told her she couldn't go back in at all- not even during the interval which I found shockingly outrageous. Is that a new rule? Good show though.
Saw Wings with a brilliant performance by Juliet Stevenson, but although she was excellent, the play was boring - psycho babble about post stroke existence. Shame that the presentation was so good and the content so dull.
The most exciting theatre in London - cheap tickets are almost always available, and the standard is drama is usually through the roof.
Gotta be one of the best theatres anywhere right now. Great programming and always close to the action wherever your sat. Love this place
Poor quality website for booking tickets . No seating plans displays. Impossible to circumnavigate the "enable cookies part ". Frustration
Always enjoy coming here, great shows, good social scene, decent bar and food
Great balcony area with good selection of finger food. Had my working leaving do here and staff were very helpful. Nice atmosphere and quick service
Yet to see a show here but the bar is great with a good terraced area on sunny days
Twelfth night was incredible. Their no entry policy is unnecessarily harsh. I organised a theatre trip with the women in my family, when 3 of them had manged to buy drinks from the bar and got to the door at 7.31pm were told they weren't allowed in. I was inside and watched as staff gave their seats...
Great lunch and just as it was about to be served the fire alarm went off. When we got back they cooked it again.
Always fun even without seeing a play! Bar and restaurant are pleasant, good music, not too loud, good food and drinks selection, relaxed and friendly. Brilliant all in all.
Great intimate venue. Really close to the performance. Bar and restaurant on site. Mixed gender WCs with cubicals. On The Cut close to Waterloo station with several bars and restaurants nearby
Didnt get to see end as wasnt allowed in after using toilet which was disappointing but overall show atmosphere and staff amazing
Small in-the--square theatre offering interesting productions - both new and classic. I saw and can recommend 'The Convert'
Very spacious and the gender neutral bathrooms were clean.
Never disappoints. Always an intimate, alternative and immersive experience. No matter what we go see, we leave talking about it for days and thoroughly enjoying the experience.
The Young Vic is an essential part of the arts community. Saw Fun Home, and the tech and stage direction was v good
Varied quality programming. Saw the inheritance last week which was fantastic. Good food and drinks selection. The bar is a decent place to hang out
'Tree' play was quite immersive with actors embedding themselves amongst guests a really interesting execution.
Actors were very energetic + excellent sound and visual effects (kudos to props designers for coming up with using tennis nets to depict tree branches).
Standing places though had ...
Nice place to go after work with a really great cafe / bar, although a little pricey.
A truly brilliant theater that brings world-class productions at the fairest price available in London. A true gem.
Cracking show. Had cheap seats but still had a great view of the stage.
Nice bar with good selection of beers. Plays here are always excellent
An Amazing Production of Death of a Salesman but they should change the title of the play as it spoils the surprise at the end
Nice little theatre with a bar that accommodates great atmosphere
Cool, buzzy theatre/bar with an ever-changing array of plays from classics to new writing hosted in the two black box spaces. Where this differs from other theatres, though, is the spacious, excellent bar, which can get crowded after hours, but dishes up the best spirits and high-quality gastro snac...
Amazing theater with great plays and good beer you can take with you to the performance.
Watched A Man Of Good Hope here. One if the best plays I have seen this year
Beautiful intense show Fun Home seen in delicious alternative theater.
I love the buzz of this Theatre. I have never seen a disappointing production. So many standout productions - truly memorable. I enjoy eating here too. Good basic menu. The first floor terrace is great place to catch some rays, enjoy a nibble, giggle pre matinee in warmer times. Often come here bef...
The main performance space is excellent, with really good sight lines from all the seats and a good balance between intimacy and capacity. The bar is always buzzing with lively people enjoying themselves. There are some nice restaurants More
Great little theatre. Watched "Yerma", possibly the best play I have ever seen.
Great environment for a drink and some tapas. Good staff behaviour and great selection of drinks makes up for the higher than expected prices.
Excellent lunch deal. Lovely bright space, friendly staff.
Best bar around Southwark or even if Southbank is too busy
The theatre itself and the convert play I went to watch was awesome but.....I had purchased the lucky dip tickets..beware things that are cheaper are not always great. It was not clear when purchasing that you would have to stand and wait for everyone else who had paid the higher fee to be seated be...
Beautiful place and the performance I watched was amazing. Easy to find and entry was quick. Can have a drink at the bar before performance starts which is always a bonus!
Great selection of theatre. All reasonably priced. Smaller theatres are first come, first served seating.
Such a versatile small theatre. Always a delight to see productions there. No matter where in the house you sit the view is always great and the layout of the theatre/stage changes with every play to accommodate it's needs.
Great little venue for a theatre...good view from any seat and great plays...Recently saw Peter Brooks - The Suit...
the theatre building itself is lovely, nice design and has a good bar. seating in the auditorium is comfortable. however, i m a little disappointed as i arrived for a show just in time at 7.30 on the dot and was told no entry as it had already started. was allowed in 15 minutes later, to stand for 9...
Lovely intimate theatre with bar and restaurant on site
although I have never actual been to the theatre there I have been to the 2 bars that they have. They have one bar on the ground floor and another on the 1st floor. They make great cockrails bit they do not sell carona.
They do have a great out outside balcony which is great in the summer and gre...
The Young Vic always seems to keep it fresh. Theater to challenge your frame of thinking. Great place to come for a drink if you're in the area too.
Went to watch The Convert - amazing production with humour throughout which I did not expect! I sat in row C on the ground floor and had no issues with the view. Staff were friendly and helpful :)
Holy moly the Death of a Salesman is incredible. Great venue. No bad seats. Not too big. Big balcony for drinks. Find something here and go see our. You won't be disappointed
