This company are very unpleasant to deal with. I would suggest not appealing a parking ticket as they won't accept your appeal even if it is correct and genuine. Unfortunately my blue badge had been knocked out of view and I received a ticket. Perfectly valid for them to give a ticket as it wasn't clearly displayed however dealing with them after this was difficult. When I realised what happened I showed the landowners my blue badge and explained before I left the car park.

I appealed the ticket with VCS with details of my badge and all supporting info. Including the fact this is the same space I use every week day and have done for over 6 months! They rejected the claim on the basis that I didn't follow my blue badge handbook, a handbook that only applies for public roads and highways and not private land (private landowners have their own rules). They spoke about concessions I received... though I made it clear in my appeal that I gained no concessions by parking here. Blue badge holders paid the same as everybody else to use the car park. They weren't budging. I wrote to the landowners who said that they hired VCS to protect spaces for disabled people - not punish those who need them. They got the ticket cancelled on my behalf.

Basically, don't bother appealing as it likely won't get you anywhere. Let them go through the DVLA to find your info. Ignore their demands for payments - they're bullies. They are sending unenforceable invoices, don't let them try and tell you otherwise (which they will).

There should be an option of negative rating! One star is way too good for this crap company!! They issued a parking fine while I was awaiting a parking permit from them!

It looks like there are lot of sufferers like me. There should be legal actions taken against this company!! Gutted!

I used to work here as a temp they break GDPR, the only goal of the company is to make money at the demise of motorists, the systems I used were inadequate and don't work properly often vehicle registration numbers aren't clear yet we are still told to send out fines. I received no GDPR training.

They tryed to charge me a parking ticket for a vehicle I've never even driven or had any connection with. I explained the vehicle had nothing to do with me, however they then tried taking the issue to court. Which went quickly in my favour. Still vile little company, full of little cretins.

This bunch of cowboys pay thousands of pounds to different supermarkets/shopping centres/airports etc to allow them to "control" their parking/roads, providing them with a massive incentive to swiz the shopping centre customers for large sums for any minor parking misdemeanour (which they then keep).

This whole business is a massive con and needs to be legislated against. Write to your MP and let's end this practice.

Beware these con-artists. They tried to take me to court for non payment. I had paid & sent in all the evidence, however I think they thought they could bully me into paying the fine. A couple of weeks before the court date they pulled out. I wrote to them as I now had out of pocket expenses, but they ignored this twice. So I took them to court & won on harassment (3 debt collection agencies & threats I would lose in court). Despite winning the judgement they decided to delay paying me by appealing the judgement. This was denied. The judge referred to them as 'abhorrent'. To anyone reading this do not let them bully you. Keep every letter they send you, and if you have to take them to court for harassment, then do it.

Parked in a disabled bay on the coldest windiest snowy night of the year and in an effort to get out into the warm, failed to put my badge out. I am a wheelchair user and unable to walk or stand so not the easiest thing to do. I sent them a copy of my badge which is 100% valid. They refused the claim as the only important point was not displaying it apparently, not the fact I needed the space. Interestingly there were about 4 cars on the whole floor of about 60 spaces. Nice work guys. I had to put one star as you can't put none. Scummy company.

My car was stolen from a 'secure' car park during the Xmas period 3 years ago so whilst I was waiting for my new permit VCS fined me 5 times even tho they had agreed with the management company not to. They tried to take me to court in 2019 and eventually agreed to no legal action. Today I have received another claim from a different court for the same fines. Absolutely disgraceful company! Have been in contact with VCS and the debt company too and sent them a copy of the letter stating no legal action would be taken and they haven't replied to me.

I was parked in a bay with a parking permit issued by the relevant company, the permit was displayed and the company has decided it wants to take me to court.

I have the permit and will be taking this to Court and will be making a course claim.

Utterly shameful and disgusting bunch, should be prosecuted for fraud! If you received a threatening letter, please complain to their regulator, DVLA, the ICO for illegally obtaining your data and defend the claim as they company is clearly abusing their position.

Awful phone service that error-ed when trying to forward me to the correct extension, late replies and after requesting proof of payment and being told it was sent first class it has been 4 days and still hasn't arrived. Shocking service and practically a modern day scam.

Please explain why one of your operatives parked illegally (in the entrance to the Flora Street retail park), took photos of the cars parked in the car park then got back in the car (a red Ford) then drove off without putting any notices on the windscreens. Unfortunately I couldn't get a photo of the sneaky weasel's number plate but it was approx 15.30 on 10/11/19.
This seems to be the golden egg time for these weasels to fill their quota, Sunday afternoon beware folks!

This company's reputation and one-star rating are well deserved. There should be a zero star rating, as one star is better than Vehicle Control Services Ltd. deserve. It is time to name and shame these companies and legislate to stop profit being made from genuine disabled people!

I can only believe that no one at this company knows what it is like to be disabled and continue to try and live their life as normally as possible. Sometimes not displaying a blue badge is the last thing on their mind when they are trying to get through the day.

The land owners who use this company to enforce their car parks should be held liable for the misery that Vehicle Control Services Ltd. inflict on those parking on their land.

They took me to court over a ticket I didn't pay because of sickness. It should never of gone to court with the circumstances that I pulled onto the car park. Their waste of time appeals service rejected my case but the court sided with me and threw out the case.
Do not let these cowboys scare you into paying if you think you have a good case.
Also make sure you request a SAR (subject access request) they have to provide this to you with all information they hold on you by law.

Was parked in Salford quays. Literally left my car to go and BUY a ticket, came back and there was a parking fine, when I emailed them and called to dispute they refused my dispute and did NOT cancel the charge. And now they're sending debt collector letters... Absolute disgusting people, I hope the company gets eaten by a plague.

Falsely Received a parking ticket on a vehicle which was sold and not even registered in my name, whilst I was Living thousands of miles away in another country. Evidence shown and they cancelled the fine and closed the case with the balliffs. However refused to contact the courts cancelling the CCJ against my name.

Continuously hanging up the phone when asked to discuss the matter, refused to accept any wrong doing, refused to show any compassion, or assist in anyway shape or form. However, accepting they issued the ticket to the wrong person? But refused to call the courts and remove the CCJ, which was only out of embarrassment and spite due to the companies incompetence.

Currently taking legal action......

Absolute bell ends! Fine for parking in my own work place and forgot to put up my permit in simple human error. When I contested it and showed them my work pass and that I do work there and they binned me off. Hadn't heard from them in a while and then I get a court letter saying I owe 185 sheets two and a half year later. The letter was recieved a week and a half later after the issue date and i was took to court before I could submit defense. Robbing tw*ts

Was surprised to get a ticket for parking my car in Birmingham when I've never been to Birmingham and live over 200 miles away. Would appear that they've been fabricating evidence. I've no issue with paying a parking ticket that I've earned, but wholesale making up of tickets is taking it a bit far, VCS.

Poor signage and poor reasoning. I was in a spot that had no signs in front of it and I was on absolutely no ones way. On a car park I have seen people parking on banks and on double yellows with no tickets on Windows. Part time thieves. I showed friends where I parked on a later date and they laughed due to how easy it is to confuse the spot with a genuine place. Con artists, legalised.

Left this 5 star rating because I wanted people to read this. The reality is this company is the biggest scam company ever.
When I moved to my propery a few years ago, every tenant had their own private space with a metal bar that you pull up with a padlock to ensure no one parked in your space. Then one day Vehicle Control Services came in and pulled these security bars up without any consultation which made the car park a free for all. Then they gave out more permits than the spaces available. I came back one evening and all the spaces were taken so had no choice but to park next to the bay which was still in the car park. My permit was visible. Came down the next morning and there was a ticket on my car. I appealed it and they refused to accept it. Read up about the company and realised there fines were unenforcable so took the decision not to pay. They sent me countless fines offering me discounts and then letters to say they were doubleing the fine. Then got letters from a debt enforcement company saying they were acting for vehicle control services (surprise surprise its a company owned by the same people). Ignored them as well. Called them in the end after about a year of non stop letters just to let them know I had taken legal advice (my partner works in law) and that am more than happy to go to court and to stop snding me letters. I wish they had taken me to court as would have hit them with the biggest counter claim. That conversation was about 2 months ago and havent heard anything more from them.
This company has sod all power and dwells on weak people who will cave in and pay up with non stop threats. Do not pay this company EVER. Ignore them, stay strong. I am fortunate enough to have a massive legal firm behind me. Maybe this frightened them enough to stop trying it on with me.
Hope this company goes bust. Utterly shameful practise

I and my step son checked the notices in this Sheffield car park at Berkeley Centre in Sheffield. It was not clear that charges were made on a Sunday and we confidently parted, we thought legitimately. I live too far away to check the notices.
I received a fine but due to issues at home it went unopened until the 2 weeks had passed. I tried to ring them several times trying different options to speak to a human. Each time the call timed out/went dead.

Would give them zero stars if i could, moved into a new apartment and pulled my truck up to the front of my door and unloaded a heavy fridge freezer and a washing machine, i collected the rubbish and returned to my truck to see a parking fine on my windowscreen.
I am a resident here and legally allowed to park, see you scumbags in court!

A faceless bullying con merchant
We stopped for less than 60 seconds at 6am in Southend airport to let my 89 yr old (blue badge holder) mother in law out of the rental car. The return zone for rentals was too far for her to walk back to the terminal and there was no other pull in near enough to stop. The gentleman in the spy car took photos only of my wife and I but deliberately omitted any with mother in law trying to get out of vehicle. We even spoke to him in his vehicle and he understood why we had to stop yet he still posted biased photos to 'catch us'. See our return photo of him and our own after dropping wife & mother off.
