Great little coffee place. Great atmosphere, comfortable, good service, great coffee. Would have been five starts but parking is very challenging.

Quick and easy. Nothing made it stand apart from others like it but it wad good coffee and quick. medium pricing.

This was my first coffee shop I went to in Austin, and I still go because the place is awesome!!

I liked the large outdoor seating area. A definite hipster hangout.

Would strongly recommend the Heffenweissen (1$ off tap on Happy Hour) for hot summer days. Good music and chill vibes.

Prepare to park somewhere else because the parking lot is the size of a car trunk. Drinks are good and service is above par. Wifi is reliable. Restrooms are below par. For categorizing itself as a coffeehouse, it does attract a reasonably loud and boisterous crowd, though. And, no employee would ask her to use her inside voice. Either that or the acoustics of Thunderbird Coffee put Boston Symphony Hall to shame. But, I did notice that headphones were used more more people than what I would consider the norm. I will be back to update my review but will definitely be bringing my noise cancelling headphones.

Nice atmosphere and service, but the coffee was...sigh, very average at best. Disappointed, especially given that we were paying premium prices.

Great place. Good coffee... but:$4.20 for a small latte... $5 with tip if you don't want to feel stingy. And it's always packed...

You must try the honey nut latte, Vietnamese coffee, or almond milk latte. Their drip coffee is also very delicious. They are kind enough to keep almond milk at the coffee-flavoring station too! Unfortunately, it gets very crowded so be ready to hunt for a parking spot and seating.

Very friendly and pleasant staff, good coffee, and plenty of tables and outlets, as far as thine eyes could see. Do not pass on the opportunity to make a witty remark on the quirky prices (you'll see what I mean).

Good coffee, good atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet place, this isn't it, but there is a good amount of space for small and medium-size groups plus lots of options for drinks and snacks.

My favorite place to grab a latte near campus because their lattes are so smoothe and refreshing.

Every time I go to this location the staff is very friendly and my order does not take more than 5 minutes.

If there is a line, which there usually is not one, moves quickly because it is tyoically short.

I don't usually stay because it gets quite loud, the seating area is small, and the parking is extremely limited. The bathrooms are clean though!

Hip, yet relaxed coffee shop. Simple menu, good drinks, daily specials, and always friendly service. Definitely a neighborhood favorite.

Nice venue with free wifi. I noticed a lot of people working/ studying over there.
I had a chocolate croissant and a hot chocolate. The croissant was good but I didn't like the drink that much. They put cinnamon in it and that's not my favorite thing. Next to that I found the price too high, I paid $7,06.

Thunderbird Coffee has a great atmosphere to go and get some work done. Quiet, peaceful, good coffee and a friendly staff make for an all around great experience. Good beer prices all day and a fantastic patio to enjoy a cold beverage on a hot Texas day. Can be quite busy at times and people tend to camp out, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the coffee shop. Keep an eye out for the cute redhead staffing the bar!

I went before 7pm on Sunday and they were closed, but the hours on Google said open until 11.

The bathrooms have the ingenious, yet uncommon, "vacant/occupied" door technology. That's all I need to know I'll be returning.

been here a few times and coffee is normally great. Today's latte was lukewarm and did not have the tripple espresso kick I had ordered.... however the cafe has a nice atmosphere

COME ON. I know people want to smoke, but maybe make a policy that you can't here at a COFFEE shop. Who wants to smoke while drinking Coffee? Oh yeah. They sell alcohol here. Those people want to smoke. This is the worst.

Coffee and pastries were really good, I just wish their patio was smoke free. I want to be outside enjoying coffee in the morning. Not smelling smoke.

A great spot if you want to spend some time outside. They have ample seating both inside and outside the store with plugs throughout. The parking lot is fairly small though and you are most likely to find parking on the streets in the neighborhoods nearby. The service is excellent as is the food. I especially liked their Turkey Cranberry sandwich.

Thunderbird Coffee is my go to place for a cup of black coffee and a croissant. It's on my way to work and the staff always seem really warm and friendly. The only reason why I did not rate them excellent is because every time I order an extra dry cappuccino, they can't seem to make it dry enough. But I wouldn't hold it against them that bad cause I always still go.

I didn't know they served hot sandwiches until a few weeks ago. The grilled cheese is the BOMB! Love the atmosphere, too.

There is usually plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, the folks behind the counter are nothing like the thing beneath the stairs, and you can drink and/or drink depending on your method of egress. Quality.

Had a pretty solid mocha and sausage kolache here a few weeks ago, definitely will be making regular visits

Honey nut latte was delish! Sweet but not too sweet. There is substantial indoor seating with outlets available for studying. Parking is small - only about 7 spots.

This is one of the best coffee spots in my neighborhood and I love stopping by for some delicious java brew. The staff are super friendly and always excellent to customers and one another. Great atmosphere for pups and people alike

Quite possibly the best coffee I've had in recent memory. Service was fast despite the place being PACKED, it wasn't super noisy, wifi worked great, and everyone was friendly. Definitely will recommend to anyone who comes to Austin.

Drinks are inconsistent. Lattes and drinks that aren t straight up coffee are never hot enough. Drinks are soooo inconsistent.

the food leaves something to be desired. could be more interesting and i'm not as enamored by generic breakfast tacos as most austinites. good place to hunker down and do some work.

One of my recent favorites. The food they create is delicious, given how little prep space they have. Lots of seating inside and outside, with a hip cool vibe and good tunes.

Great espresso and plenty of seating as well as parking down the road if you don't mind a little walking.

Small parking but regular coffee shop feel. Espresso was a bit pricier than star bucks but tasted better. People were friendly but the place was a bit noisy. I went at about 2p.

It's a popular spot but because of that, their wifi is terribly slow. I recommend using a hotspot if you are doing anything more than checking email. That's always the first thing I check and it can make or break a place for me. If the internet is slow then I usually don't spend the time to grab food or drink.

Coffee was badly burnt. Not good and way too pricey. My wife and I both felt sick after coming here. Won't be back, too bad as it has potential.

Parking in this area of Manor is difficult; looking past that, the coffee and croissants at Thunderbird are excellent. Often a line in the mornings, but service is swift and friendly.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Austin. Price is fairly average and their drinks are delicious. Their laid-back style is what keeps me coming back.

The absolute best food. The hummus is awesome. The salads are so good.

I expected the coffee to be good, but didn't expect the breakfast sandwich to be as well. I ordered a sweet latte and it was perfect. Then ordered an egg, ham, and cheese sandwich with spicy mayo. That spicy mayo did the trick. So good!

In addition, there's plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and free wifi. It's a great spot to grab breakfast, brunch, or a spot to get some work done!

More evidence that Austin knows little about coffee. I am sad over this. Somthings needs to change. Maybe all coffee shops here need to visit a cheap, white trash, roadside coffee drive through in Oly Wa to learn the basics of good coffee. Please dont try and learn this in Paris.

This used to be my go to coffee spot in town. It has a great Austin atmosphere and great people watching. The coffee is good and they also serve a few beers on tap. Their breakfast tacos are from taco deli and their cinnamon rolls are from Quack's. They're recently hired a grumpy person who works on Sunday haha. That's alright I'll cheer them up and show them how awesome it is to pour me a big ole cup of coffee yeee haww!

I thought the ambiance was trendy in an Austin vibe type of way and the pumpkin bread and lemon bar were just the right amount of yum! The guy taking the order was prompt, patient and informative ...the coffee was really good...cons: small serving sizes on the beverages and extremely small parking area.

The coffee and staff is awesome. It's the only place you can get a honey-nut latte. Parking is terrible, so carpool or get there another way. Currently, Facemasks are required in the building, and seating is patio-only.

This is a charming place, with good coffee. I had a little trouble getting online, but I'm pretty sure that was all about me and not them.

Stopped in on a hot day for an iced coffee. Really cool little stop with delicious lattes. Looks like a lot of people come here to work while they grab a bite to eat. There's outside seating as well.

This is my neighborhood coffee shop, and I couldn't be more lucky! I walk here every morning to get a latte...and sometimes a bagel or breakfast snack. They have tacos from taco deli, lots of vegan options, and other fresh baked goods. The barristas know what they're doing and are really nice. If you haven't been here before you should definitely check it out.

PS - Great place for a beer during happy hour!

Thunderbird Coffee has a nice selection of coffee drinks and food and some very nice people behind the counters. The atmosphere is pretty great for coming in, grabbing a coffee and a bite, and working on your laptop. There's plenty of seating (inside and out) though it will get a little too crowded around their peak hours.

Busy location, but I like the menu board they have and the service. Great shaded outdoor seating options when it s cool enough.

OK coffee....if you want youur drink hot, you need to tell them (especially espresso drinks and milk). Oatmeal was in a cup, not homemade and the blueberry muffin average at best.

Do you go to UT and you need some caffeine? Well you and the 50 other students are here on the weekend with good reason! Great coffee, laid back environment and wifi. That's pretty much all you need and a strong latte is just what the doctor ordered. There staff is very friendly and knowledgeable also.

I love this coffee shop great owners the owners also own birdie birdie biscuit and I enjoy the space they have a great outdoor area for people to sit during the summer time did a lot of studying there.

I've been going here since they opened their Manor Rd. location and what I love about it is the staff is always friendly and funny. Makes waking up and walking down to your neighborhood coffee spot that more enjoyable. Plus they serve taco deli tacos, but give their breakfast sandwich a try!

Lavender latte is the perfect amount of sweet and smooth. The breakfast sandwich is freaking delish too. Nice and crispy crunch in bread.

I had a project in Austin last summer and this place kept me alive. I went multiple times a week for about five weeks. It was consistently excellent for food, coffee, and atmosphere. Best thing about Austin in my opinion.

The coffee is really good and the staff were nice. The breakfast tacos were okay.

This is one of the best neighborhood coffee shops around! The staff if knowledgeable and friendly. I would suggest for the best coffee here to go before 7pm.
