Yanapuma is the best place to study Spanish in Quito! It is in a fantastic old building and close to everything. It is a busy school with lots going on, plenty of social activities like free salsa classes, cooking and films, plus regular group outings to see the city and stuff. The teachers are really professional and they monitor your progress and the teacher's work regularly which makes learning optimum.
I stayed with two different families and they were both very welcoming with plenty of conversation practice which really helped my Spanish progress too.
If you want to learn Spanish this is the place!

Yanapuma has a fantastic atmosphere and working space in the centre of Quito.
The teachers are skilled and professional and the school is flexible with teaching times, day (or week) trips with teachers and also starting and stopping your teaching as you go off and explore Ecuador!
They organise daily activities, outings, in house food tasting, nights out and much more....THE best school in Quito - I would go back in a second!

I had a really fantastic time studying with Yanapuma in Quito. I was there for 3 weeks and the staff and teachers were all very professional and kind, and the school itself is really comfortable to hang out. A bunch of us would meet up there in the afternoons and use the wifi and chat. It was a great atmosphere. My Spanish improved greatly, especially my ability to talk and understand. Learning the grammar is the easy part! But my teacher focused on learning to communicate which is what I needed.
Quito is really cool too, lots to do in "La Mariscal" and the historic center is as beautiful as anything I have seen in Spain. If you want to learn Spanish then go do it with Yanapuma!!!
