Worst possible Bank you can go to. I've had a bank account with them for 16 years. I had $1,500 taken out of my account for a total of three weeks because the bank put my routing and checking account number on somebody else's checks 2 states away. The bank admitted fault and yet still took them 2 weeks to get the money back into my account. I filed a complaint and try to get the bank to reimburse me but they said they were sorry and that they would take no further action. I had to switch my account information on a total of 13 companies that withdrew money for bills and lost work time having to go into the branch 6 times to get the issue resolved. Worst customer service experience I have ever seen. This bank is corrupt and treat people like dirt.

Searched on the TCF website for an ATM in area code 55427, and was still charged $5.50, both by the ATM and by TCF. I went in to this bank to explain my situation, after I told the supervisor, she talked to her manager, and they told me to call customer service!! WHY WOULD I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN I AM IN THE BANK TALKING TO YOU NOW??? Couldn't believe it, and waiting on the phone for a half hour before talking to somebody is not worth my time, so I am now closing my accounts that I have had with them for over 5 years.

Banking functions have been great.

However, I just wish there was a simple chart with each location listed with all hours. I got tired of looking at each one individually. I don t always use the closest bank, depending on where in town I am and what the hours are.

Please... just a simple table.

Tcf bank is without doubt the saddest excuse for a bank ever I own my business so had a business account with them they would find any reason to take money including maintenance fees. They also would not let my employees cash checks from there bank not to mention when they did they take seven dollars if you don't have an account I know check cashing businesses that take less. Absolute BS that's all tcf is

Stay away from these rip-offs. Never bank with them. They are even bigger scam artists than Bernie Maddoff and the like. Their overdraft protection is a joke. And everytime I called them about it, they said they do not have any other options but paying overdraft and then charging ridiculous fees. No other bank does that. They are just ripping off customers. Take my word and CLOSE all your accounts with them ASAP. I already did. They had no respect for me considering I was with them for 8 years and had 3 accounts with them.

I went to casa check and they were attempting to charge 3% of the check Then, they had the nerve to ask for my SSN to put me in their system. I am reporting this to the regulators. Why are you recording SSN numbers of non customers to cash checks under 10k? Let's see how long you get away with stacking SSN numbers now.

Horrible customer experience with this branch. Some of the tellers (not all) at this bank are rude and I have had so many issues cashing checks. On top of that, the website doesn't function properly when trying to access my accounts. It'll feel great when I close my account within the next couple of days.

The worth bank ever! I opened a CHECKING account (no request for credit card, loan, etc.), provided all information including my ssn. Also I was offered a "free" book of checks, which seemed nice...

BUT in 2 weeks I received a mail that my account is suspended because I did not provide ssn and I need to come over to show my ssn. I went to bank and found out that the guy who opened my account left a day ago! I did not have my ssn card with me, they said that an operator should have taken a copy of my ssn and this was his mistake. However, they refused to resume my account. I decided to close my account and leave this awful bank.

In 2 weeks I received a bill ($20) for check book which was offered for free. The most awful is that the account was closed when they sent this bill and I have never received this book.

BEWARE! I have a hard inquiry in my credit report from TCF bank for opening a checking account.
