VIP Personnel is great! Patty got back in touch with me quickly and was very professional and kind.

Jessica was my recruiter and she was so pleasant and professional! The same day I left her office, she contacted me about setting up an interview for me with a prospective employer. Her assistance and me not having to do it alone has paid off, she has secured a job for me and I'm so thankful for her help! I have used VIP Personnel in the past and have obtained past employment with their help, and I highly recommend them and Jessica, she was great!!!

I worked at JcPenney for almost 2 years. It was absolutely awful, no raise, obviously no benefits, horrible hours. I was fed up! I somehow sent my resume to VIP, got a response immediately. My Recruiter no longer works there, but she was amazing. I told her what I was looking for and she scheduled me to come in the next day. She was very polite, and personal. A few days later, I quit VIP to temp at my current employer. I have everything I wanted and was looking for. I have been working here for almost 2 years. I thank VIP everyday! I always recommend people who dislike their job, and are having trouble to seek a recruiter here. Thank you again!

Patty was an amazing help and I was offered a job within a month of working with her. VIP Personnel is an extraordinary company and help!

Very disappointed at my experience with this agency. My recruiter was extremely pushy when trying to contact me via phone, even though I had explained I cannot take calls at my workplace and that email would be preferred. She even called my husband during his work day attempting to contact me! Unacceptable. They ended up placing me in a less than stellar position with a high turnover rate that they are very aware of. I was hoping for a job that had advancement opportunities and a good benefit package for my family, my position had neither. I had a much better and productive experience with Peyton at ITAC Solutions!

Applied at the beginning of September. I've called several times and was assigned to Mrs. Nolan. Every time I call she's either on lunch or I'm sent to her voice mail. She gave me the wrong email 3 times even after I repeated it to her. She hasn't called or emailed me or anything not once. I called her today, she was "on lunch" so I left "another voice mail." Poor communication, very unprofessional. I've gotten more interviews and call backs ON MY OWN. This company is full of bull, don't even waste your time!

I personally LOVED working with VIP. Jessica interviewed me on Friday, November 15th. I had a job by November 21st. Jessica was very thorough and she always kept me up to date with what was going on. I would definitely use them again if I needed to!

I think Kathy Berg is lying, and she probably works for the company but they are horrible, worst temp agency ever you can tell by all the low star scores. Wish I could give them ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!

This is staffing service has some very serious ethical issues. Just reading from the comments you can quickly tell they are not in favor of equal employment opportunities . 4/5 stars are from one group while the lower stars are from another. The company responses to the unfavorable reviews with an abrasive cavalier attitude.

My experience with VIP was remarkable. Patty was such a pleasure to work with and I loved how communicative she was throughout the entire process. They were able to place me with temp work quickly and help me find a permanent job that was such a great fit for my experience and job goals. Why is this place still in business? I used them about 10 years ago and they were awful then. My husband recently contacted them for a job and the girl he spoke with had nothing but attitude and acted like she didn't want to help him. Terrible place.

I highly recommend VIP Personnel for client services as well as placement services. They are very dedicated to helping the business meet the right employee, and the right employee connect to the best suited business. I was treated very well by the entire staff but Leah Klimchak was absolutely the BEST! She knew I had a wide range of skills to work with but diligently worked to find me the best fitting position for my background. I trusted her with my future and I am so grateful that I did!

I have personally used Patty Gilmer twice for my employment needs, she has not disappointed. She has placed me with two different but equally amazing companies. I would recommend giving VIP Personnel when you are looking for employment. They have a friendly and helpful staff that is always working for you!

I can't say enough nice things about VIP and not just because they got me a job. The entire staff was so nice and professional, especially Cara and Julie. They did not stop trying to find me a job, even a month after we initially met. I would highly recommend.

I have worked with VIP twice and both times I have had a wonderful experience. Both recruiters were prompt and professional. Moreover, I felt like they were really working for me. Each temp job I was placed at was fantastic and I enjoyed learning more at each location. They work hard to find appropriate places and pay well for the work.

Worst experience trying to get in with them .THEY ARE VERY RUDE and I wouldn't recommend no one going there!

Extremely poor communication. Had to call them several days after an interview to find out the employer chose another candidate the day after my interview. Thanks for letting me know. Also- they say they are often "too busy", don't return calls or emails for days. Many of the jobs on the site are not even available.
The follow up they do with employers is inadequate as well- I had to personally follow up and schedule my 2nd interview with a prospective employer because they kept saying "we can't get in touch with them". Really? Only took me 1 phone call to HR. They also don't pay attention to your qualifications- they kept asking me about jobs that I was either not qualified for or did not fit within my salary preference. Are they actually reading my resume or treating me as one of the herd? I would not recommend this company to anyone- you will only feel frustrated and be treated like you are bothering them when you try to follow up/ get some answers.

Miss. Patty is the absolute best! She found my first job 5 years ago and when I decided to leave, she found me multiple interviews in the field I was looking for; which turned into a brand new job within a month for me. I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a job! She has helped many of my friends and family members. She communicated with me everyday and made me feel like I was her only client. I would give her 6 stars if I could!

Worst temp agency in Birmingham by far they never call you back, when you come in for a interview they are late if they see you at all, they switch up job recruiters and then the secretary there never seems to know what she is doing very unorganized. After calling several times for my personal job recruiter they lady told me not call ever again and hung the phone up in my face. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to work for this low budget, unprofessional, rude, horrible company. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!

Melissa was great! She was sweet and very helpful from day one. I m an African American and I felt fine through my whole process even the receptionist was nice. I was treated with respect and kindness. When she reached out to me I was still finishing undergrad, I told her I wanted to wait, and she was totally fine with that. When I graduated she sent me for an interview where I am now working full time and I love it. Melissa replies to emails in a timely manner and communicates effectively. I recommend VIP.

I am so so grateful for this agency!! My recruiter is Melody Crowder. She was so nice, thoughtful and seemed down to earth. I came in for a interview, talked about my work history, experience, and gave her my resume. She asked me questions about what I was looking for and had a big binder full of open positions in different fields. (So if you've had no luck with VIP, its your recruiter, not because they don't have tons of openings.. Because they do). She told me she would get right on looking for some opportunities for me in the healthcare field (since that's what I wanted). Within one week, I had 2 interviews set up. She called me and made sure the drive wasn't too far for me and the pay from them would be okay, which I found to be very thoughtful. The first interview I went to, I was hired within 5 min, and started that day!! Been there 2 weeks now:-) It is a temp to hire, as they all are. But the place I am working has already told me they are going to keep me full time! I am so happy I went to VIP and had Melody as my recruiter because seriously, no one has a clue how long I had been looking for work. Over 200 applications through Indeed... It was pointless. I can't thank Melody enough!! Weekly, decent pay! Seriously, if you're having a hard time trying to find a job, or just need that professional to get your resume out there, go to VIP. and ask for Melody!

I have nothing but praise for this company! Last week, my husband and I went to VIP Personnel in order to find full-time employment. I met with Stephanie Dally who is both extremely pleasant and professional. We talked about my resume as well as my preferences for the job I was looking for. The next day, I received an email and phone call from Stephanie telling me that she had an interview for a position that fit my preferences. I interviewed for the position on Wednesday and by Thursday was hired! I couldn't be more pleased with my experience and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for employment to use VIP and ask for Stephanie.

I responded to an RN position posted on the VIP website and was set up for an interview the next day, 10 minutes before I arrived the VIP recruiter called and said that she is tied up in meetings for the day, so she asked me to reschedule the appointment. The second time I came into the office she said there were no openings available and that she would contact me when something came up. That was a month ago and still not one phone call or email. I am a nurse with 6yrs experience. They waste your time and gas for nothing. Very disappointed.

Julie Nolan of VIP Personnel is simply the best in the business! I have worked with Julie on a couple of jobs and she has always actively helped and placed me great positions. She is a fabulous communicator, quick to respond and is always in your corner. I have worked with several staffing agencies simultaneously and Julie always comes out with the perfect placement where others seem to lose me in the "stack" after a couple of weeks of barely trying. I started with VIP Staffing on 7/15/17. My recruiter was Cara. She was very friendly and understood what type of career I was looking for. Within 24 hours of me visiting with her in the office, she called me with 3 interviews!! I was completely shocked. I had one company offer me a position and I politely declined. Even though i did this, she did not stop sending my resume out. She called me just a week later with a start date for a TEMPORARY POSITION. I was only supposed to be helping a company out for a week. That was 3 weeks ago and i am now a PERMANENT EMPLOYEE!! Without her help, i would have never even considered this company! I am so very grateful for VIP Personnel!

Although my recruiter was extremely nice, I went in 3 weeks ago and was told I would be contacted within a few days on an update via sending my resume out. Luckily, job sites gave me more updates than this company.

This is a staffing firm that is not going to just hand you a job on a silver platter. You must have a sterling resume for them to present to their prospective employers. Once placed in a position you are expected to work hard to prove you are worth investing in. Many people feel they should be able to waltz in to a staffing agency and shimmy out with a job, regardless of education or professional experience. That is not the case. VIP communicated with me daily during my job hunt and had an interview for me at least once a week. They listened to my needs and took into account my experience. They did not try to place me in industries that I had no interest in or jobs that would be detrimental to my overall professional development. Due to their great work and dedication, I have been placed in an office that I love and a position that is perfectly suited to my education and skill level. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a desire to better themselves professional and the history to prove it.

Friendly staff willing to get you in and out quickly

The experience I had with this company was a nightmare. They are rude, extremely useless and unprofessional. They will leave you unemployed and put you in a position you never thought you would be in. They have a god like montality and you are beneath them.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at VIP. My recruiter Patty Gilmer helped identify my skill set, prepared me for interviews, and most importantly created the opportunity for the career I have today. My experience with VIP Personal was unbelievable. I would advise anyone searching for Temporary or Permanent employment to give them a call. Kathryn Lowery was the best I ever worked with. She was very professional in person, by phone and email. When I came for my intake or interview she thought she had a job lined up for me but she found out the next day the company went in another direction. But she informed me immediately and stated she still had other options for me and would be sending out my resume immediately. She kept in contact with me by email and by phone at least twice a week which is very rare today. And in the end the job she originally wanted to place me in called back stating the previous hire done by the company not through VIP Personal did not work out. She sent me on 2 interviews with that company and now she was able to get placed me with the company starting on Monday as Permanent employment. I can not describe what a God sent this company and Kathryn has been to me and my family. Thanks again Kathryn.

I was in dire need of a job back in August 2016, so my recruiter Lavinia found me a job in less than a wk. I was really appreciative for that. I was laid off from the $10/hr temp-to-hire job in Oct. 2016 and immediately let her know I was available. I was dependent on her, hoping I'd hear back from one of the several jobs I submitted my resume, too. She didn't seem interested in helping me after that. So I gave up after two mths of unemployment and moved on with ITAC Solutions, where I was offered a permanent full-time $40K job after being there for four mths. Everything works out for the better, I suppose.

Don't recommend if you're looking for immediate work. I had an interview about a month ago with Melissa and she never called me back, or returned my emails for that matter. Complete waste of my time.

They are very rude and unprofessional.I had an interview with one of the older ladies and she played more with her hair than making eye contact with you on a interveiw.I think they are racist and need to be investigated.they deserve zero stars,so if you are really lookin for work I wouldn't recommend this company.

I went into the office in regards to a full-time position they had posted. I honestly have my doubts that these are actually openings and not just something to draw folks in. I was told I would be contacted the following week. I've had no response via email or telephone.

Good customer service involves timely and accurate follow up, regardless of the decision of placing candidates into positions. I've had absolutely none and find this a very poor reflection of your company and those you are supposed to be assisting, corporate or employee.

Highly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone and suggest just trudging through on your own. You can guarantee no waste of time that way and will probably have better success. I did, in the week waiting for a return phone call or email.

Every employment agency I've been to just tests you, interviews you, then you never hear from them again. VIP is different! Cara set me up on a job interview at least once a week and I was hired within one month!! I can't thank her enough for her service!

My recruiter was Melody & she helped me so so much. I was needing a job very badly and getting scared because I looked for almost 6 months before she called to tell me about an Accounting job. We met and I knew she would help me and only 2 weeks later she found my dream job!! I m doing just what I told her I like and make more money than I did before. The best part is the benefits my new company gives me. My husband has health problem & we needed medical insurance very badly, but could not afford coverage. Now I don t have anything to worry about & am so happy. I wish I used VIP & my Melody a long time ago. So glad she called me because now I have everything I need. VIP is the best!

They are the most unprofessional people i have ever met in my entire life! Ive been waiting for a call from them since February and im still waiting...they claim the current opening on their website is current but when i finally was about to get in touch with my recruiter she said she didnt have any openings at the moment

Within thirty minutes of leaving the initial interview I was called for an interview with the company I work for now. Inclusiveness and diversity is certainly not apart of this companies mission statement. The demographics of their office staff is a indication of the type of candidates they are seeking to fill vacancies.

I met with my 'recruiter' only one time: she had me do a series of computer competency tests and then we talked briefly about what kind of jobs I was looking for. At one point she told me "I have a company that would love your background!" which had me all excited.
I never heard from her, or anyone there, again. And when I would call she would never be in the office. Even after I left voicemails I never heard from her. They don't care at all about you as an individual. You are just another body walking through the door.
